Shatta Wale: Ghanaian Artists Earn Less Than Nigerians

He claimed that many Ghanaian artists earn "pennies" and do not receive adequate appreciation for their success.

Shatta Wale shared his personal experiences, revealing that he once faced homelessness and relied on his girlfriend for accommodation despite being a well-known artist. He emphasized that even successful Ghanaian artists often take taxis to their shows, highlighting the lack of financial support in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.

In contrast, he noted that Nigerian artists earn significantly more and receive greater recognition for their achievements. At 41 years old, Shatta Wale called on his fellow Ghanaian artists to set higher standards and work towards enhancing the value of the entertainment industry in Ghana.
