Gombe Assembly Service Commission Promotes 28 Staff

On August 5, 2026, the Gombe State House of Assembly Service Commission convened its maiden full-Commission sitting, chaired by Rt Hon Sadiq Abubakar Ibrahim. During this meeting, the Commission approved the promotion of twenty-eight staff members across various cadres, based on recommendations from the Senior and Junior Establishment Committees of the State Assembly and the Assembly Service Commission.

Additionally, the Commission ratified the retirement of six officers who had completed the mandatory 35 years of service. In his welcome address, Chairman Sadiq Abubakar Ibrahim reaffirmed the Commission's commitment to addressing staff welfare issues as mandated by the State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, in accordance with the Commission’s establishment law.
