Gombe Governor Appoints 10 Special Advisers, 2 Deputies

Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Yahaya approved the appointment of 10 special advisers and two deputy chiefs of staff as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery across the state. The announcement was made in a statement issued on Monday by Ismaila Misilli, the Director General of Press Affairs, on behalf of the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Njodi.

The appointments took effect on May 1, 2026. The new appointees include Ahm Abubakar Maidalan for chieftaincy affairs, Abdulrahman Adamu for inter-party relations, Dr.

Ahmad Wali Doho for education, Said Kawuwa Malala for political community relations in the north, Adamu Moham Waziri for special duties, Moham Shettima Gadam for political community engagement, Abubakar Hassan Difa for rural development, Iliya Suleiman for youth engagement, Lamido Buba Komfulata for political affairs, and Asma U Moham Iganu for women mobilization. Moham Adamu and Isiyaka Shu Aibu were appointed as deputy chiefs of staff.

The governor expressed confidence that the appointees would support the administration's development agenda and enhance policy implementation and community outreach across Gombe State.
