Gombe Governor Inuwa Swears in 23 New Commissioners

On Saturday, Gombe State Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya swore in 23 commissioners and special advisers during a ceremony at the Government House in Gombe. He urged the appointees to commence work immediately to help consolidate the achievements of his administration before the end of its tenure.

Governor Yahaya highlighted the need for the new appointees to provide effective leadership and implement government policies efficiently to improve service delivery across the state. He tasked the newly sworn special advisers with offering policy guidance and innovative solutions to strengthen governance and enhance public confidence.

The governor also called on traditional rulers, community leaders, and civil society organizations to support the new officials in delivering the government's development programs. The appointed commissioners include Abdulkadir Moham Waziri for Agriculture and Food Security, Prof.

Aishatu Umaru Maigari for Education, and Dr. Usman Maijama Kallamu for Works and Infrastructure, among others.

Yahaya emphasized the importance of maintaining transparency and fiscal discipline within the administration.
