Former PDP Legal Adviser Reveals Pressure to Defect to APC in Akwa Ibom State

Emmanuel Enoidem, a former legal adviser of the PDP in Akwa Ibom State, disclosed that Governor Umo Eno pressured him to defect to the APC for the upcoming 2023 elections. Enoidem explained that the decision was not sudden but a result of emotional appeals from Governor Eno, including sleepless nights due to text messages urging him to join the APC.

The formal defection took place at Utu Etim Ekpo with the presence of Senator Godswill Akpabio and other political figures.
