Adamu's Agro Empowerment Programme Relocated in Nasarawa

The second phase of the agro-empowerment programme, initiated by Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, the Social Democratic Party governorship candidate in Nasarawa State, was held in Akwanga after government officials allegedly denied access to a designated public venue. The programme, covering Akwanga, Nassarawa Eggon, and Wamba Local Government Areas, was relocated to the National Headquarters of the Evangelical Reformed Church of Christ (ERCC).

High Chief Otaru Douglas, Director of Media and Strategic Communications for the IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu Campaign Organisation, stated that the denial was politically motivated. The event proceeded successfully, distributing farm inputs, machinery, and financial support to beneficiaries, including tractors, rice milling machines, and cash grants.

The campaign organisation expressed gratitude to the ERCC for providing an alternative venue and noted that the initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity and support farmers ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
