Lagos Police Mourn DPO's Death and Officer's Bribe Rejection

The death of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Matilda Ngbarony of Festac Division in Lagos after surgery has left the police command in grief. Ngbarony was described as a dedicated and respected officer known for her professionalism and commitment to bridging the gap between the police and citizens.

In a separate incident, Superintendent of Police Ibrahim Sini turned down a ₦150 million bribe from a Lagos-based businessman, Akintoy Akindel, in exchange for a favorable police report. This sheds light on the ongoing corruption within the Nigerian Police Force.

Additionally, Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun rewarded Sini for his integrity.
