Group Supports Tinubu's Agenda, Warns on Health Concerns

A group known as Watchdog Diplomat has publicly backed President Bola Tinubu's "Renew Hope" agenda, emphasizing its potential to revive Nigeria's economy and restore national pride. The statement, made available to journalists in Abuja on Thursday and signed by the group's coordinator, Georg Piu, describes the administration's policies as a visionary blueprint deserving of transparent and inclusive implementation.

However, the group has urged President Tinubu to exercise caution in appointing individuals to public office, stressing that such officials must possess competence, experience, and sound physical health. Concerns were raised regarding potential appointments, specifically mentioning Engin Adokiy Tombomiey, who has alleged health challenges that could affect performance in office.

The group highlighted the critical nature of public servants, particularly in the Niger Delta, where immense stamina and physical resilience are required. They warned that appointing individuals with health limitations could undermine government efficiency and erode public trust.
