Group Praises Army, Police for Borno Rescue Operations

A group has commended the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Police Force for their successful rescue operations in Borno State, where 360 individuals were reportedly held captive by Boko Haram insurgents in the Mandara Mountain area. The group, represented by Mari Abayomi Fatil, praised the bravery and dedication of security personnel across the country, describing the operation as a significant achievement deserving of national appreciation.

They urged Nigerians to support and encourage security forces in their duties and called on the Almighty God to grant wisdom and strength to protect the nation. Furthermore, the group appealed for intensified efforts from security agencies nationwide to secure the release of schoolchildren and teachers still held by kidnappers, emphasizing the ongoing pain felt by families of the victims.

They encouraged citizens to report suspicious activities promptly and urged political leaders not to exploit the country’s security challenges for political gain.
