GRACO Mobilizes Abuja Residents for Voter Registration with Digital Skills Outreach

The civil society organisation, Grassroots Centre for Rights Civic Orientation (GRACO), in conjunction with ByteOasis, is set to mobilize Abuja residents for voter registration. The event aims to increase voter participation by equipping citizens with digital skills to engage in the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) process.

The outreach, scheduled at Lilcentral Restaurant and Football Viewing Centre in Gwarinpa, will provide practical guidance on online voter registration, transferring polling units, and combating disinformation. GRACO's communication officer, Daniel Otera, emphasized the urgency to boost voter engagement and address factors hindering participation, especially among women.

The initiative aligns with the Independent National Electoral Commission's goal to devolve the CVR in the Federal Capital Territory by October 18, 2025.
