INAHURAT Calls for Justice in FCT Land Fraud Cases

The Initiative Against Human Rights Abuse and Torture (INAHURAT) has called on alleged victims of land fraud in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to come forward and seek justice. This appeal was made on October 14 in Abuja, where INAHURAT, represented by Dr Maxwell Opara, presented allegations of multiple land disputes in the Katampe, Guzape, and Kado districts.
The organization urged affected individuals to report their experiences to the appropriate authorities and called for accountability in handling land-related complaints. Specific disputes were cited, including Plot 387 in Guzape and Plot 282 in Kado, with concerns raised over corporate ownership records and property titles.
INAHURAT also highlighted the alleged involvement of certain legal practitioners and security personnel, urging investigations by relevant bodies. The group requested the Nigeria Police Force and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to address any evidence of wrongdoing.
Additionally, INAHURAT submitted petitions to the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC) regarding alleged professional misconduct related to these disputes.
