Gunman Stabs Four Children to Death in Uganda Kindergarten

On Thursday, a tragic incident occurred at a kindergarten in Uganda where a gunman, identified as an adult male, invaded the facility and stabbed four children aged two and three years to death. The suspect reportedly gained access by posing as a parent and had previously visited the kindergarten on two occasions to seek enrollment for a child.

Following the attack, the suspect attempted to flee but was restrained by security personnel from a nearby church. Law enforcement arrived shortly after and fired warning shots to disperse the gathering crowd before taking the suspect into custody.

The police confirmed that four children died during the incident, while others at the daycare were safe and were later reunited with their parents. Inspector General Aba Byakagaba visited the scene, urging residents to remain calm as the investigation continues.

The motive behind the attack has not yet been established, and the public has been encouraged to provide relevant information to assist the ongoing inquiry.
