Gunmen Abduct Three Students from Federal University of Lafia

On Saturday at approximately 8:45 p.m., three 100-level students of the Federal University of Lafia were abducted from Sure Leaders Lodge, located off the university's campus in the Bukan Kwato area. The Nasarawa State Command of the Nigeria Police Force, represented by Police Public Relations Officer SP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed that a manhunt has been launched to rescue the victims and apprehend the kidnappers.

As of the latest updates, no arrests have been made, but the police are actively working on the case and have identified potential suspects. A student from the university expressed concerns about the increasing frequency of kidnappings in the area and urged the government to enhance security measures around the campus.

The Federal University of Lafia's Information Unit acknowledged an attack on a female student but stated they were unaware of the kidnapping incident. The university management has not yet released an official statement regarding the abduction.
