Gunmen Kill One, Injure Another in Jos Attack

On Thursday night, an attack in Jos led to the death of Mr. Shedrack Dalyop, aged 36, from Kuru District, while Mr.

Mang Davou, 32, from Gyel District, sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment. This incident follows a similar attack in the area a few days prior, which had also resulted in fatalities.

The Berom Youth Moulder Association (BYM), led by Barrister Dalyop Solomon Mwantiri, condemned the attack and highlighted the deteriorating security situation faced by residents. They called on security agencies to conduct immediate investigations, arrest the perpetrators, and ensure justice is served.

The association extended condolences to the family of the deceased and urged residents to remain calm while law enforcement takes decisive action to address the ongoing violence targeting innocent citizens. The Plateau State Police Command's Public Relations Officer, Alfr Alabo, did not respond to requests for comment at the time of the report.
