Gunmen Raid Home of Ex-Ogun State Chairman, Steal Cash and Vehicle - Rising Crime Wave in Ogun State

Gunmen raided the home of former Ogun State Chairman, Alhaji Emilola Gazal, in the early hours of Thursday. The armed men stole cash, valuable items, and a vehicle from his residence in GRA.

Gazal, who also publishes Roots Magazine, reported that the attackers forced him to empty his bank account through mobile transfers, seized his wife's jewelry, and took his car. He planned to report the incident to the police.

This incident adds to the increasing wave of violent crime in Ogun State, particularly in the Ijebu axis. In recent months, there have been clashes between the police, Amotekun operatives, and criminal groups in various parts of the state.
