Padraig Harrington Wins Third U.S. Senior Open Title

Padraig Harrington captured his third U.S. Senior Open title, matching the tournament record with a four-shot victory at Scioto Country Club in Ohio.

The 54-year-old finished the championship with a 12-under-par card, overcoming an overnight deficit against Stewart Cink, who struggled in the final round. Harrington's victory adds to his previous wins in 2022 and 2025, making this his fourth senior major title.

He joins Miller Barber as the only golfers to win the U.S. Senior Open three times.

Ian Poulter finished fourth, seven shots behind Harrington, while Jamie Donaldson shared fifth place, and Darren Clarke ended the tournament tied for eighth. Harrington expressed surprise at the stature of the championship when he first joined the senior circuit four years ago, noting that this tournament was unusually stress-free compared to his previous victories.
