Ocholi Appointed to TETFund Board for North Central

Dr. Hassan Abdulrahman Ocholi has been appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a member of the board of trustees for the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), representing the North Central geopolitical zone.

In a statement issued on Tuesday following the announcement, Ocholi expressed his gratitude for the appointment, describing it as a privilege and a solemn responsibility. He pledged to work with fellow board members to strengthen TETFund's interventions in public tertiary institutions, ensuring effective representation for the North Central zone.

Ocholi acknowledged the support of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, which he said inspires his commitment to developing Kogi State and its people. He assured that he would promote equitable educational development, improve access to intervention funds, and enhance research support for academic staff.

Ocholi, a scientist and policy expert with a PhD in Biological Sciences, has a career spanning public service and scientific research, and he aims to contribute to the implementation of the administration's renewed hope agenda in tertiary education.
