Daveigh Chase, a former child star best known for her voice role as Lilo in Disney's "Lilo & Stitch" and her portrayal of Samara in the horror film "The Ring," passed away on Tuesday morning at the age of 35. Her father, John Schwallier, confirmed her death, which was attributed to sudden severe health complications.

Prior to her death, Chase lived on the streets of Los Angeles near a medical center and had been admitted to the hospital earlier in the month due to extreme malnutrition and a weakened immune system.
