Walson-Jack Commends NIMC for Digital ID Reforms

On Monday, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, praised the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) for its successful implementation of the new NIMC Act. During a meeting held in Abuja, she acknowledged the commission's efforts in securing approval for a service scheme that had been requested since 2007.

Walson-Jack expressed her satisfaction with the commission's progress, stating that the approval aligns perfectly with President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda for public service reform. She thanked Abisoye Coker-Odusote, the Director-General of NIMC, and his team for their hard work in achieving this milestone, which she described as a significant step towards modernizing identity management in Nigeria.
