APHCF 2026 Launches in Abuja to Tackle Health Challenges

The 2nd Annual Africa Primary Health Care Forum (APHCF) officially commenced on Tuesday in Abuja, gathering healthcare experts, policymakers, and innovators from across Africa. This forum aims to address critical healthcare challenges and develop innovative solutions for community health.

The theme for APHCF 2026 is “Frontiers in PHC Technology, NCDs, Nutrition and Sustainable Financing for Resilience,” focusing on actionable resilience in African health systems. The main conference will take place on July 30–31, 2026, and is structured around three strategic sub-themes: The Preventive Pillar, which emphasizes vaccines, nutrition, and combating Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs); The Digital Frontier, which explores the use of artificial intelligence, telemedicine, and digital health tools to empower frontline health workers; and The Sustainability Engine, which aims to unlock innovative financing models and establish public-private partnerships to create resilient health systems.
