Heirs Insurance Group Launches N9m Hackathon for African Youths

Heirs Insurance Group has initiated a N9 million hackathon for African students to address real-life challenges in the insurance industry through technology and innovation. The program aims to equip young individuals with the skills needed for the future of insurance, focusing on areas like artificial intelligence and digital solutions.

The hackathon will provide mentorship, industry exposure, and practical experience in solving business challenges. RedTech, a subsidiary of Heirs Holdings, will offer technical support for the event.

The competition will culminate in a grand final in April, where the top three teams will share the prize money.
