Heirs Life Assurance Appoints Pastor Jerry Eze as Director

Heirs Life Assurance has appointed Pastor Jerry Eze as an Independent Non-Executive Director, a move aimed at reinforcing the company's commitment to expanding financial inclusion and accelerating insurance adoption in Nigeria. This appointment is particularly significant given that Nigeria, despite being Africa's largest economy, has an insurance penetration rate below one percent, one of the lowest globally.

Eze's unique perspective on community engagement and value-based leadership is expected to contribute to building greater public trust in insurance. He is the Founder and Lead Pastor of Streams of Joy International Ministry, which has 34 branches across West Africa, Southern Africa, Europe, and North America.

Eze also leads the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD), a major digital prayer platform. Additionally, he founded the Jerry Eze Foundation, which supports vulnerable communities.

Eze has a background in development communications and holds degrees from Abia State University and Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
