Pastor Jerry Eze Joins Heirs Life Assurance Board

Heirs Life Assurance, part of Heirs Insurance Group, announced the appointment of Pastor Jerry Eze as an Independent Non-Executive Director on its Board, effective August 10, 2026. This appointment is intended to strengthen public trust and accelerate insurance adoption in Nigeria, where insurance penetration is below one percent.

Eze, the Founder and Lead Pastor of Streams of Joy International Ministry, is recognized for his community engagement and leadership. He also leads the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD), a major digital prayer platform.

Eze founded the Jerry Eze Foundation, which provides support to vulnerable communities and announced N1 billion in grants for young entrepreneurs in 2026. His background includes work as a Communications Specialist for the World Bank and UNFPA.

Tony Elumelu, Chairman of Heirs Life Assurance, expressed confidence in Eze's ability to enhance consumer trust and financial inclusion. Eze stated his honor in joining the board at a pivotal time for the insurance industry.
