Hoba Chiefdom Celebrates One Year with Development Plan

The Hoba Chiefdom marked its one-year anniversary with a celebratory event in Hong, Adamawa State, attended by royal majesty Tul Hoba Alheri Bulu Nyako and Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri. The event featured cultural displays and traditional dances, culminating in the unveiling of a 30-year development plan aimed at empowering the Hoba community.

Governor Fintiri, who described the creation of the chiefdom as a visionary step, confirmed the traditional title of Midala Hoba, meaning "command chief." Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, represented the occasion, highlighting the administration's commitment to listening to the people's needs. The governor assured continued support for the chiefdom, noting achievements over the past year, including a tree planting campaign, a ₦500 million empowerment fund, and the renovation of the old palace at a cost of ₦30 million.

Relief items worth ₦50 million were distributed to flood victims, showcasing the administration's dedication to community welfare.
