Al Hilal Defeats Mamelodi Sundowns in CAF Champions League Clash

In a CAF Champions League match held in Rwanda, Sudanese club Al Hilal secured a 2-1 victory over South African visitors Mamelodi Sundowns. The match, played at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, witnessed goals from veteran captain Moham Abdelrahman and Burundian Jean Claud Girumugisha for Al Hilal.

Brazilian player Arthur scored for Sundowns. The win propelled Al Hilal to the top of Group C with eight points, while Sundowns are in second place with four points.

Al Hilal had previously drawn 2-2 with Sundowns in Pretoria. The match also highlighted the diverse composition of Al Hilal's squad, with 15 players from nine African countries.
