Hoodlums Murder Motorcyclist for Motorcycle in Kaduna
A commercial motorcyclist was killed by hoodlums who stole his motorcycle on Gongola Road, near ProView Event Centre in Barnawa, Kaduna, early yesterday. The victim's phone was discovered at the scene, which allowed the police to notify his family.
His elder brother and a pastor arrived shortly after being informed. At the time of reporting, efforts to obtain confirmation from the Kaduna State Police Command were ongoing.
This incident has sparked serious concerns among residents regarding the increasing number of motorcyclists in the Barnawa market area, particularly between First Bank and Children Hospital. Preliminary findings indicated that many of these motorcyclists lack proper shelter and often sleep on their bikes in open spaces overnight.
