FHA Launches Renewed Hope Estate in Osogbo, Osun State

The Federal Housing Authority (FHA) has initiated the development of the Renewed Hope Estate in Osogbo, Osun State, to address the country's housing deficit. The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Thursday, led by Hon Oyetunde Ojo, Managing Director and Chief Executive of FHA, who was represented by Arc Nya-Etok Ezekiel, Executive Director Estate Services.

Hon Ojo emphasized that the project, in collaboration with Summit Group Limited, will feature a mixed-use development that includes residential units, commercial spaces, and recreational centers. He stated that the FHA is committed to tackling the housing deficit, which cannot be resolved by the government alone, hence the adoption of Public-Private Partnerships.

The project is guided by directives from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be accountable and results-driven. The estate will span 33 hectares and include modern infrastructure and amenities.

Hon Ojo also announced plans for extensive housing construction across Nigeria, with previous groundbreaking ceremonies held in Uyo, Kaduna, and Umuahia.
