Housing Ministry and CIPMN Collaborate on Project Management

The Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, led by Minister Engr. Muttaqa Rabe Darma, is collaborating with the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN) to improve project management and delivery within the housing sector. This collaboration was established during a courtesy visit from CIPMN leadership to the Minister's office in Abuja.

Engr. Darma emphasized the importance of effective project management for national development, particularly in the complex housing sector, which involves various professionals such as engineers, architects, and contractors. He expressed his intention to review the legal framework of the CIPMN to ensure its alignment with the Ministry's activities.

Mr. Henry Ifeanyi Mbadiwe, the Registrar General and CEO of CIPMN, noted that the Institute was established by law to regulate and professionalize project management in Nigeria, ensuring that project leaders possess the necessary skills and competence.
