Air Peace Orders Strengthen Nigeria-Brazil Aviation Ties

Air Peace has significantly bolstered Nigeria's relationship with Brazil through its aircraft orders, starting with an initial order of 10 brand new Embraer E195-E2 jets in 2019, valued at $2.1 billion, making it the first airline in Africa to launch this aircraft type. In 2023, Air Peace placed an additional order for five Embraer E175 jets, later converting three of these orders to larger Embraer E195-E2 models, leaving a firm order backlog of two E175s.

The delivery of the Embraer E175 aircraft, which arrived at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on July 7, 2026, at 8:32 PM, marks a significant milestone for Air Peace. Mr.

Ef Osifo Whiskei, a spokesperson for Air Peace, noted that the arrival of these state-of-the-art aircraft aligns with the airline's commitment to providing world-class air travel across Nigeria and beyond. The Embraer E175 is designed for short to medium-haul operations, featuring an 88-seat configuration that enhances passenger comfort and operational efficiency.
