Onochie Questions APC's Integrity Ahead of National Convention

Lauretta Onochie, a former aide to the late President Muhammadu Buhari, expressed her concerns regarding the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the party's national convention preparations. She questioned when the APC became a "419 political association," referring to the alleged refusal to issue nomination forms to aspirants who had paid significant amounts.

The APC is currently screening candidates for various national offices ahead of its national convention, which is set to take place on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. The screening process commenced at 9:00 AM, with the committee chaired by the Ekiti State Governor overseeing the evaluations.
