Kwankwaso's Daughter Influences Alliance with Obi

Ukpai Iro Ukpai, the South-East Coordinator of the Kwankwaso National Network (KNN), revealed that a pivotal conversation between Rabiu Kwankwaso, the vice presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), and his daughter, Dr Aisha Rabiu Kwankwaso, prompted Kwankwaso to collaborate with NDC flag bearer Peter Obi. This discussion, which took place at Kwankwaso's residence, was described as a defining moment for a “National Healing” presidential ticket.

Aisha encouraged her father to consider Obi, challenging him to prioritize national unity over regional interests. Ukpai noted that Aisha's perspective as a newly graduated medical doctor highlighted the potential alignment between Obi’s economic vision and Kwankwaso’s grassroots support.

Following this, the KNN South-East Zone recognized Aisha as an honorary member for her role in fostering unity. Ukpai emphasized that the journey to rescue Nigeria starts with values nurtured within families, reinforcing the importance of bridging divides ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
