Oluremi Tinubu's Ogun Visit Highlights Governance Gains

On August 18, 2026, Senator Oluremi Tinubu visited Ogun State, where she commissioned the President Muhammadu Buhari Estate and the Gateway Medical Centre of Excellence, and witnessed the South-West zonal launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme. This visit was significant as it showcased how government investments translate into tangible benefits for citizens, focusing on essential needs such as shelter, healthcare, and food support.

Governor Dapo Abiodun remarked that development is meaningless without improvements in basic living conditions. The President Muhammadu Buhari Estate, a project inherited by the Abiodun administration, was previously undeveloped with unresolved contractual issues.

The administration intervened, resolving disputes and restructuring the project through a Public-Private Partnership, resulting in 108 housing units equipped with necessary infrastructure.
