Oluremi Tinubu's Ogun Visit Highlights Governance Gains

On August 18, 2026, Senator Oluremi Tinubu visited Ogun State, where she commissioned the President Muhammadu Buhari Estate and the Gateway Medical Centre of Excellence, and witnessed the South-West zonal launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme. This visit emphasized the role of governance in addressing basic human needs such as shelter, healthcare, and food security.

Governor Dapo Abiodun remarked that development loses significance without improvements in living conditions. The President Muhammadu Buhari Estate, initially an inherited and largely undeveloped project, was revitalized under the Abiodun administration through a Public-Private Partnership.

This model involved the government providing land and infrastructure while private developers handled construction and marketing. The completed project now features 108 four-bedroom duplexes along with essential amenities, showcasing the government's ability to resolve stalled projects and improve community welfare.
