FG Opens Recruitment for Agricultural Quarantine Service

The Federal Government of Nigeria has initiated recruitment for the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Service, allowing qualified Nigerians to apply for vacancies in the Superintendent, Inspectorate, and Assistant cadres. The application period commenced on July 28, 2026, and will conclude on August 10, 2026.

Shortlisted candidates will participate in computer-based tests and interviews later in August. Applications are free and must be submitted online through the official recruitment portal.

Candidates for the Chief Superintendent position must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree, while those applying for the Deputy Superintendent must possess a degree in Law or a relevant master's degree. Other positions require varying educational qualifications, including Ordinary National Diploma or SSCE.

Applicants must meet specific criteria, including being Nigerian by birth, medically fit, and free from criminal convictions. Male applicants must be at least 1.65 meters tall, and female applicants must be at least 1.55 meters tall.

The agency advises against applications from individuals with certain medical conditions or pregnant women.
