Tinubu Directs Wike to Build Roads for Housing Access

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu disclosed that he instructed Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, to build roads before encouraging Nigerians to move into the Renewed Hope Estate, which consists of 3,112 housing units in Karsana, Abuja. During the ground-breaking ceremony, Tinubu emphasized the necessity of infrastructure, stating that no housing estate can function without access roads.

The completion of a 10.5-kilometer access road in the Karsana West District is a critical step in fulfilling this directive. Wike noted that the area was previously inaccessible, which hindered investment and habitation.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration is committed to ensuring that contractors are paid promptly to meet project deadlines. The completion of the road is expected to enhance economic activity and improve living conditions in the region.

Additionally, Wike announced plans to flag off the construction of Kaba Kagini Zaudna Road in response to residents' requests.
