Umahi Defends Infrastructure Role Against Peter Obi's Critique

Dave Umahi, the current Minister of Works, addressed journalists on Sunday regarding ongoing infrastructure projects under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration. He responded to comments made by Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra State and a member of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), stating that he does not need to be a presidential candidate to educate others about infrastructure.

Umahi emphasized the importance of completing projects rather than halting them and expressed a desire for collaboration to ensure success in the upcoming presidential elections. He criticized the notion that being a presidential candidate is a prerequisite for contributing to discussions on infrastructure, asserting that such a position is not necessary to provide valuable insights on the subject.
