Doguwa Regrets Actions Against Governor Yusuf, Seeks Support

Federal Lawmaker Doguwa, representing Tudun Wada in the House of Representatives, admitted to regretting his past actions against Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State. In an interview aired on Radio Sundai, Doguwa, a member of the All Progressives Congress, reflected on their political confrontations, particularly during the 2023 Kano governorship elections, where he strongly opposed Yusuf, who was then a candidate from the New Nigeria Peoples Party.

Despite this opposition, Doguwa acknowledged Yusuf's contributions to the state and expressed surprise at the support he received from Yusuf in his bid for the 2027 elections. Doguwa noted that he has begun to change his attitude and accepted Yusuf's advice to control his temper as a public figure.

He recognized the need for a more supportive relationship moving forward, despite their previous disagreements.
