Former Lawmaker Praises Taraba's Security Progress

Babafemi Ojudu, a former federal lawmaker, discussed his recent visit to Taraba, where he was previously warned about potential dangers such as kidnapping and violence. Despite these warnings, Ojudu reported that he traveled across several towns and villages in the state without encountering any security threats.

His visit, which took place over the weekend at Nwonyo Lake in Ibi Local Government Area, was part of a partnership with the state government to develop an eco-tourism resort at La Campagn Tropicana Beach Resort. He commended the current security situation in Taraba, describing his recent visit as peaceful and reassuring.

Ojudu noted that his fears prior to the visit did not materialize, reflecting on his previous experience in the state back in 1991. He expressed his impression of the progress made by the current administration regarding security.
