Don Jazzy, known as Michael Collins Ajereh, revealed in a podcast episode that he experienced significant rejection from female classmates during his secondary school years, which adversely affected his self-esteem and contributed to psychological trauma. He admitted that his appearance during that time was not favorable, leading to constant rejection when he attempted to pursue relationships.

After achieving success in the music industry and becoming the boss of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy revisited his past by looking for those who had rejected him. However, he found that many of these former classmates were already married.

He expressed gratitude for his music career, which he credits for helping him overcome the psychological trauma associated with those rejections.
