Ibukun Awosika Resigns as Cadbury Nigeria Director

Ibukun Awosika has announced her resignation as a director of Cadbury Nigeria Plc, effective May 1, 2026. The company disclosed this information in a notice to the Nigerian Exchange Limited on Wednesday, signed by the company secretary, Afolasade Olow.

The board of Cadbury Nigeria expressed deep appreciation for Awosika's valuable contributions during her tenure, which began in October 2009. Over her 15 years with the company, Awosika has been recognized as a prominent business leader and served as the former chairman of First Bank Nigeria Limited, as well as the founder and chair of Central Group.

Cadbury Nigeria has indicated that it will announce a replacement for the outgoing director in due course.
