Ugochinyere Lauds Otuaro as Best Amnesty Coordinator

Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere, the representative for Ideato Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has commended Dr. Dennis Brutu Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), as the best coordinator in the agency's history. Ugochinyere stated that Otuaro's leadership has transformed PAP from a stipend-driven initiative into a platform focused on education, skills development, economic empowerment, and sustainable peace in the Niger Delta.

Since Otuaro's appointment in March 2024, there has been a notable shift towards human capital investment, with 4,500 students deployed for the 2025/2026 academic session and an increase in scholarship beneficiaries. Ugochinyere also noted the training of 40 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and the revival of 98 maritime cadets' training.

Additionally, Otuaro's reforms included updating beneficiary records to enhance accountability. Ugochinyere praised Otuaro's emphasis on dialogue and conflict prevention as essential to his strategy.
