Fubara Commits to Key Projects Before Leaving Office

On Tuesday, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara inaugurated the 12.1km Egwi-Afara-Mba Road in the Etche Local Government Area, affirming his dedication to completing significant projects before the end of his administration. Fubara, who announced he would not seek re-election in 2027, stated that his decision was made for the sake of peace and development in Rivers State.

He emphasized that despite the limited time remaining, his administration would focus on critical infrastructure and healthcare needs. Fubara expressed confidence that any unfinished projects would be continued by the next administration under the All Progressives Congress.

He highlighted the road's completion as a boost for local business and security and promised to extend the road to the Ndashi community. Additionally, he committed to completing the General Hospital in the area and ensuring that healthcare remains a priority.

Fubara noted the challenges faced during the project's initiation in 2024 but remained optimistic about its impact on the community.
