APM Candidate Adekanmbi Declares Victim of Road Project

Bimbo Adekanmbi, the gubernatorial candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), stated that he is a victim of the Ibadan Circular Road project during a press conference in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Thursday. The project, which commenced under the administration of former governor Abiola Ajimobi, has resulted in the demolition of numerous properties, including Adekanmbi's own land in Ona Ara Local Government Area.

Despite the personal loss, Adekanmbi recognized the project's potential benefits for the broader public. He emphasized his commitment to not being a "stooge" of the current governor, Seyi Makinde, while also asserting that he would not betray him.

Adekanmbi expressed his pain regarding the situation but acknowledged that development often comes at a cost to some individuals. He made it clear that he would act with integrity and not engage in character assassination against Makinde.
