Isa Yuguda Confirms Recovery After False Death Rumors

Isa Yuguda, the former Governor of Bauchi State, addressed rumors of his death that circulated on social media, confirming he is alive and recovering from a recent back surgery. Speaking on Saturday, Yuguda revealed that the false report caused significant concern among his supporters, particularly in Bauchi, with over 10,000 people attempting to contact him to verify his condition.

He assured Nigerians of his good health, stating, “I am alive. I assure you that I am in good health.

I was ill recently, but God has restored my health.” Yuguda explained that he had been advised to rest indoors following the surgery, which was necessary due to complications affecting his vertebrae. He expressed gratitude for the prayers and concern from both Muslims and Christians across the country, noting that some individuals in Bauchi were moved to tears upon hearing he was alive.

He emphasized that he holds no animosity towards anyone and appreciates the affection shown by the public.
