Kemi Adeosun Mourns Husband Adeniyi at Funeral Service

Kemi Adeosun, the former Minister of Finance, mourned her husband, Adeniyi Adeosun, who died on August 5 at the age of 62. During his funeral service held in Lagos, she described his death as painful but expressed gratitude for their years together.

Adeosun stated that her husband was not ill prior to his passing, simply going to bed and not waking up. She recalled visiting the mortuary and finding him with a peaceful expression, saying, “He had the biggest smile on his face.” Reflecting on their marriage, she noted that this year would have marked their 33rd wedding anniversary and shared their plans to travel more often.

Kemi described Adeniyi as a “mischievous human being” and recounted humorous moments from their life together. She expressed gratitude for their family and friends, stating he would be deeply missed.

Adeniyi Adeosun is survived by his wife, children, and siblings, including Adewale Adeosun, founder of Kuramo Capital.
