Sharafadeen Alli Receives INEC Nomination as APC Candidate

On Thursday, Sharafadeen Alli formally received the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) nomination form as the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections in Oyo State. The event also unveiled Michael Adedeji as his running mate.

Alli, a senator, was supported by APC chairman and former deputy governor Mose Alak-Adeyemo, who urged party members to unite and work towards reclaiming power in the upcoming elections. Alli outlined his priorities, including agriculture, youth empowerment, education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, while pledging to align his administration with President Bola Tinubu's policies.

He called for unity among party members and expressed gratitude for the support received throughout the primary process. The event was attended by various APC leaders and stakeholders, reinforcing the party's commitment to winning the governorship election in 2027.
