Igboho Awaits Approval to Combat Terrorism in South-West

Sunday Igboho, a prominent Yoruba nation activist, announced his readiness to dislodge terrorists from South-West Nigeria through the Iru Ekun Security Network, pending government approval. He stated that the security outfit is prepared to commence operations aimed at flushing out criminal elements from forests across the region.

Igboho emphasized the importance of adhering to the required documentation and procedural prerequisites for the approval, which has already been submitted to the federal government. He praised President Bola Tinubu for his commitment to strengthening Nigeria's security architecture, particularly in the South-West.

Igboho expressed confidence that the federal government would grant the necessary approval soon. He is also ready to collaborate with the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services (DSS), Nigerian Army, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to ensure the safety and peace of rural communities threatened by kidnappers and bandits.
