Igboho Launches Iru Ekun Security Network in Oyo State

On Monday, Sunday Adeyemo, widely known as Igboho, officially launched the Iru Ekun Security Network in Ibadan, Oyo State. This security outfit is designed to address the rising insecurity in Yorubaland, targeting criminal activities such as terrorism and banditry.

Igboho emphasized the need for the Yoruba people to unite in order to eradicate these threats, particularly in forest reserves where criminals operate. He criticized political leaders for allegedly sponsoring acts of terror and called for a collective effort to ensure peace and safety in the region.

Igboho's initiative has been fully registered and approved, and he urged community members to join this voluntary security network to protect their communities. He referenced past governmental failures during Goodluck Jonathan's administration and expressed determination to prevent a recurrence of destabilization in the region under Bola Ahmed Tinubu's leadership.
