Kiley Pushes for Bill to Ban Mid-Cycle Redistricting

Emanuel Cleaver, while others, like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, have criticized it as unserious and potentially disadvantageous to Democratic-led states. Polls indicate that 66% of Americans support the ban on mid-cycle redistricting, suggesting broad public appeal.

Kiley needs 218 signatures to force a vote, and the outcome will depend on whether Jeffries supports the effort.
