UK Fugitive Steven Lyon Arrested in Bali, Set for Deportation

Steven Lyon, a 45-year-old fugitive from the United Kingdom, was arrested in Bali, Indonesia, over the weekend. He is wanted by Interpol for allegedly leading a large-scale transnational criminal organization involved in drug trafficking and money laundering.

Bali police chief Daniel Adityajaya confirmed that Lyon arrived at Ngurah Rai International Airport on a flight from Singapore, where he was identified during a routine immigration check due to an Interpol red notice. Bugi Kurniawan Untung Widyatmoko, the secretary of Interpol's Indonesia bureau, stated that Lyon's criminal group operates in several countries, including Spain, Scotland, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and Turkey.

Following his arrest, police are also searching for two associates who managed to evade detection. Lyon is expected to be deported to the United Kingdom on Wednesday.
